To be honest here, I don't think I have ever heard anyone on this board suggest "paying" someone to texture for them.

Im one of the first for alot of stupid noncence for sfc    but i wish the few models i ask to be done to look real good for my Last release for sins of a solar empire BSG mod and a gift for the SFC fans. Something i cant provide without schooling or years of tutorial and hands on training. The crew at staryards came up with the idea but i would rather support the Dyna members. I dont see any staryards members post here anymore!!

Actually not a new concept at all just not really discussed openly usually handled through PMs

I usually skip these as it means Dead lines, that I can probably can't make and a loss of creative freedom for the look. If you take a job you have to do the job they want, you can suggest but there is no guarentee that they wil go with it.

Nothing wrong with it as some one usually can do a model but not be good a mapping it or making textures, etc.
It is why allot of modelling groups formed in the past to cover the skill sets need to make models

In this case time is a issue  :P i would like a finised texture willing to wait 6 months for the detailed model. It needs panneling and minor stuff for textures but will be a hell to figure out how to fit the details on the map so i can uwv map them proper . I am also all good with the person who takes the job create there own style just as long as its not lazy work or lame crap i can already do. I have Reference immages avalable for  person who takes the job to use to help but i dont expect it to look perfect. I just want the models to look the best they can with what limmits the models have.
For the 2 models texture  i need i dont mind if the person who takes the job Renders up the detailed model for maps for the Sins lower poly game version edit it a bit and give it some weathering and damagesmoke etc. If the jobtaker knows dds format  and can make proper textures for sins there will be a bonus for all the sins area work.  ;)

3rd model Job taker can create anything they want but they need to map the model with there ideas and allow me to use that map for other ships in the theme i have.

4th and last cause i might not be able to afford the 1st model  :D if the jobtaker's dont think the job is worthy enough for my budget. Will be shipyard related. Things one would see in a shipyard in space details i dont care about just make my model look less like the blocky thing it is so i can release it and get people off my back about releasing it . I dont want to release it the way i for freelancer. No time issue here.
Oh and this will always be a Joint venture even with the pay i will always credit and make sure credits are properly known on any releases.
