Monday, a "UFO" was reported over Newfoundland. The French were conducting missile tests this week but say that no launches correspond to the sightings... (hey wait a minute WTF are the French doing testing their missiles over here? - I don't think those puny little islands in the gulf entitle them to that.. or do they?) That photo sure looks like a missile to me.
Anyway, cool stuff. I thought this only happened in other far away places. :o

It is amazing what Harper is getting away with. I suspect his shenanigans are partly why we have had to return to Angels policing. ;) Anyway, politics/money aside...
What do you think? Missile or UFO? If there really is no corresponding missile launch, this could be big. Bigger than Shag Harbour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shag_Harbour_UFO_incident)? (well at least the second case of this)
Is it a chemical propellant plume or is it an atmospheric entry trail? Damn these fuzzy UFO photos!

An interesting result using The GiMP's Difference of Gaussians filter. This says chemical propellant plume to me. I wonder what CCD was in the camera, or if it was film? No missile/rocket launch? My rosy red r.....!

Was Prophet Yahweh in the area?

Trident II. Just lobbed a couple of duds over the pole to see if the Russians were paying attention. Obviously not. Americans can't sneak nuthin by those Canucks though. Except for maybe a puck or two ;)

Oh! Low blow! :P
Ryan Miller did do an awesome job though.
