I think this is the project that ran into some copyright problems a few months ago.  They were caught using material they knew they couldn't use and are in a bunch of legal trouble at the moment.

Shame too, because I really wanted to see this one.

ehhm  the beta is out and playable, it just doesnt feel like beta,its more like a finished game,they were able to solve those problems you mentioned.

Simply check the gameplay vid

Ahh and its addictive,...forgot to mention that  ,don't touch it if you got not at least 3 hours or more spare time;)

haven't played it reccently, but i had fun when I did.  persoanlly wasn't good a driving mechs in that game, so i stuck w/ treaded vehicles... i like playing AA ;)
