I'd like to see it..I regret letting my dad talk me into selling my first guitar, a Gibson ES335 I got for Christmas in 1968..sold it to my cousin so I could by my first 12 string..paid $125 for it then, worth over $3000 now..go figure..
That's why I will never give up another guitar unless it's for love or family..I bought and reconditioned a Fender acoustic for my oldest son, and fixed up a Epiphone 12 string for a friend of my other son for her college graduation..but none others..I like my herd :D

a 1960 epiphone century hollowbody acoustic. it need refretted badly. like horribly badly. i was really broke and needed money. i bought it for $60 at a pawn shop and sold it for $200 to a guitar place. sigh...i still have a fantasy that i will walk into a pawn shop somewhere and see it there again. YOINK!!!! if i ever seen another one... MINE!!

Stoney, that's why I started learning to luthier..it takes time and tools, but I've refretted and reset the necks on some nice guitars..repaired the necks on two of mine that had guitar stand accidents (never ues a two holder stand..too unstable)..
I learned how to make a new bridge and cut saddles and nuts..next project will be replacing the binding on a six string..starting cheap, so if I screw it up, oh well
I just got a Phoenix electro/acoustic where the bridge has lifted off..the sound board is crap, so, I'm shopping around for an affordable piece of spruce to replace it, and hopefully get it all together (bracing may take a bit, and time is always a premium, between work, wife, and grandkids)..I'll shoot some before and after shots, and we'll see how it works.
I'm really looking forward to the musicians conference in May back in Buffalo..hoping to meet up with some old friends and make some new ones...and peruse the manufacturer's exhibits
