I think Boeing or AirBus will decide on that is the next gen of aircraft as Nasa should stick with space vehicles or vessel.

The flying wing has been a proven stable and fuel efficient design since the 1930's..... now it is a new 'concept'?!?!?!?!

The 3rd photo design would fumction at very few runways as they exist today. Only 300' wide SAC runways, I Think, could handle that design
