Title: Shatners Raw Nerve to have Laforge and Chekov on it tonight.

Just a heads up for the fans.

as a side note, man Walter looks bad. I felt so sorry for him and his family when his son died, but you can see, it hasn't been good for his health either.  I hope he can find some peace in his life soon.

This sort of melancholic view on things is typical Russian,a Mentality issue.

Good point Kehakoul. I hadn't even considered that to be honest.

But yes indeed, he does look awfully bad.  Granted he was one of my favorites in the show also, probably my favorite outside of the big three.

I still see him as Al Bester from B5 rather than an older (TMP, TWoK, etc.) Chekov... I don't know why, just always felt that that role suited him better after being the "young pup" on the Big E. It is heart breaking to see him old and looking beat, even unfortunate. Its just sad all around.

You could tell he was still pretty sharp, but I think he was holding back something tonight. I can't put my finger on it though.

I Liked B5 after I saw it, which has been in just the last year or two, But I grew up on Star Trek Reruns, so that will always by my first impression when I see him.

Levar Burtons  discussion on Roots and Reading Rainbow was interesting also, along with the stories from Seminary.
