Title: Need a bit of help

Ok start the game go to log in screen and try to log into the forge and it tells me  file missing "starfleetop.exe" is missing.

now I can play singel player and get to the log in screen can some one help

 running an AMD 3.1
 4gig ram
and windows XP pro os

reload the game? repatch? reload missions and forge scripts?

been there done that about 5 times but what the heck whats a few more times :buck2:

Is the "start in" parameter properly set on the shortcut you are using? (Or any new AV products running?)

It is also possible the server may need a kick. I'll login to test.

Tested a quick login. All was fine. (on Vista no less.) So the server is OK.

I'm thinking av interference. You can try downloading a backup exe from our ftp archives to see if that might help. (perhaps your exe got corrupted somehow... hrm side note to self: compress old files windows features... I wonder what they would do, could possibly cause interference...)

I take it you launched OP and not EAW to try to log into the dynaverse? I saw your post so I logged into the forge and played for a few hours. The Hydran planet is almost mine!
