for the first time ever, a photo has captured the shuttlled docked at the ISS. there have been many renderings and imaginings but never an actual photo. NASA wanted the photo for posterity before retiring the shuttle permanently. the photo was taken from a russian soyuz capsule. i think the photos are gorgeous.  see them here: http://news.discovery.com/space/big-pic-shuttle-endeavour-docked-space-station-110607.html (http://news.discovery.com/space/big-pic-shuttle-endeavour-docked-space-station-110607.html) (may take a while to load)
