Title: Getting Started with EAW

I just picked up EAW from the Marketplace and have a few questions on how to get started. I'm looking to try out the base single player game before trying out mods, but mod suggestions are welcome. I'm familiar with setting up SFC 3, but it's been several years and I missed EAW when it came out.

• Are there any patches needed for the Marketplace version?
• Does EAW need an access server patch like SFC 3?
• Is there a setting to allow play without having to load the CD?
• Is there a post detailing the current preferred setup/installation steps?
• Any other suggestions?

Play the game before you mod it.  Just my thoughts here . ;)

My search has failed me. Can someone point me to a post that details what needs to be installed in what order for EAW purchased from the Marketplace on a WinXP system?

For EAW I have a tool that automates it, you can try I have not tested it beyond on my pc:

Unzip the exe in this post. Place it in the same directory as your marketplace download and run it, it should do the rest automatically.

If that doesn't work, well there are the steps listed in your other thread that should still work.
