Hi, I have returned after a long abscence!
I managed to get SFC:EAW running on a Mac at last, using WINE, so I have been playing this again for a few months. Then I decided to come back here and have a look
only to find there is a new version of the game! How can I get my hands on this?
I am also now on an Fibre connection with a 6ms ping, that means I can finally play multiplayer if I want.
I also wanted to look into hosting a server - I am having problems with this. Can someone please point me
to th right place to get a server up? I have opened up all the ports on the host and done the port forwarding as well.
At this stage I just want to run a server here at home in my own world for a bit then perhaps release it online, if I can get
some help. I tend to play as Lyrans by the way - is that still a thing?

Hey Rachel,
They changed the ports with the release of SFC/CE project. So if you get that installed, you will need to change them. Also you will need to uninstall SFC 2 first before installing SFC/CE. And it doesn't matter if you play Lyrans, Fed's, or whatever they all blow up the same. lol. Have fun, and welcome.
