Title: AHA! Found them! (thought that I'd lost these forever). New stuff coming out.
Post by: atheorhaven on April 03, 2014, 11:09:08 am: Believe it or not, am back.. wasn't gone away, kind of lurking while I was looking for my old models folder. Didn't want to start all new stuff, wanted to continue working on what I was working on as I'm stubborn that way. ;)

So a month ago, I stumbled across my models folder backup sitting on an unused hard drive, so I finished my Jaggoroth and also got this mesh rework and retexture completed for SFC1 and SFC2 that was on my list.. as well as almost completing this puppy (thought he was lost) along with another part of his house owned by a certain bescarfed fellow..good chap..

Best thing of all was that I had virtualized the laptop I was modding on, so I still have my old 3dsmax install as well. So 3dsmax, all my old SFC tools, texturing tools, everything.. it's all slowly coming back together. I might even revive Mare Imbrium as I have some better web software now than what I was using before. All I have to ask is.. where do we upload models to these days?

Thanks, and I appreciate it.. but just about everything I've ever done originated as a request from someone (the Jaggoroth is a good example of that). So if you've liked what I've done, ultimately, it comes back to the community to thank them for the inspiration. :D

Do you have a favourite, or a genre that you've liked that I've worked in?

I always love to see non trek stuff for the game, Star Wars,Star Gate, Battle Star, Star Blazers, any thing with a space ship. I would like to see a Legion Cruiser one day, which I could do it my self but just have not had the time to try to learn, if I can learn ,not sure that I can. That's why I am so great full to all of you - who can and do for the rest of us. It has made a good game great! :)

Seeing I finished Bill and Ted's phone booth, that got me thinking of someone else as well using the same mesh. (Will remove the antenna of course and make a small curvature).

Might even make this relevant to some that otherwise don't get it.

How about.. Inspector Spacetime anyone? =D

I see them around here quite a bit.. a lot of pubs in this area get them to go for the Brit pub feel. :)

Not that I frequent a lot of pubs, there's just a lot of pubs around here.. ;)

Gotta tell you.. it's REALLY nice to be working on things again, I get twitchy and antsy when I'm not working on meshing or texturing.. it's my artwork. :D

Post by: atheorhaven on May 20, 2014, 10:10:54 am: Okay, fixed the mapping on K-9 (he now has a grey jaw as opposed to the lit eye thing that I did have going on).. the Bill and Ted and Inspector Spacetime boothes are done. Just looking to scale the Jaggoroth ship now. Took a while to find anything that specifically gave me dimensions, but it looks about to be 120 metres. So once I have that scaled, and find my portable install of SFC1 Demo, I'll play test them and get them ready for release.

Current stuff will follow the same idea as my older stuff.. there'll be SFC1, SFC2, and SFC3 versions released. :)

Once I play test, I'll put up some shots ingame. :D

Tom Baker era TARDIS (have to fix a little bit on the main mesh), K-9, and my Classic Dalek, all in battle. :D
