Another option for the money is the Electric Motorcycle being shown in prototype by Harley Davidson (no actual price yet)  Imagine a Harley that does not deafen those nearby.

The army had a near identical prototype back in the '50s. It's time it made a comeback.

Regarding electric harleys, don't worry, any such Harley will come with a rumble pack.

With my E-Bike when riding on "shared use" paths with pedestrians roller bladers etc I do play sound effects (train sounds right now).  I get fewer complaints than if I use my horn.

What's the performance going to be like once I put all of the weapons I want on it.  Its not going to be worth $8 if it can't take down some whinny b*tch with a lightsaber.

I just heard what the new electric Harley sounds like. It sounds like a blender... seriously.
