I would like to see what this would look like with the TOS deflector dish and front of the engineering hull.

looks good just have to turn the pylons down a little.I would use it in game.

Nice TOS-era model. What would it be in SFC? A Battlecruiser? A Heavy Battlecruiser?
The USS Davids appears to be very sturdy. It could have a better HET rating than the Enterprise.

Reminded me of the same thing Mackie.
Regarding the Ares it'd be a Light Cruiser, one step below the TOS E, I figured the Davids was the same.

Thats a sweet design, but your right Age, a more traditional hull and deflector would look sweet. :)

Yes its funny that the Axanar people went with the glowing deflector rather than the traditional dish. I wonder if Tobias
created a version with the dish? HMM

You could always go to their Face book Page and ask them :)

Quite True ;D

Idk what they were thinking, esp if you are a hardcore trekkie, seems like a JJ mistake to me. I would have at least done like Enterprise and put a blue glow behind the traditional dish, but oh well
What they were thinking was, "How do we get from JJ trek/USS Kelvin style to TOS?". Answer: A "transitional fossil" called the Ares with aspects of both...then blow up the JJ style fleet.
