Does anyone remember what the poly limit for the game is? It's been so long I can't remember. I just discovered that newer versions of 3DS Max have a ProOptimizer, which makes poly reduction not as painful, while still keeping the integrity of the model intact.
If someone could let me know before I move onto mapping, that would be great. Thanks!

Think it was less than 16K or 18K
It was more of the Textures not being at 8-bit that caused issues not so much the poly count
