By request heres a couple of my latest works, Im not particularly fond of the SFB klink designs so i took some libertys to "alter" them

1st on my chopping block is the F-5L frigate, The SFB design to me was just too "blocky", so i streamlined it, and added some b'rel design influence to the old "frignought"
 

Next up is the C-8/9 Dreadnought. IMO the SFB design is awfull. I was thinking that the klingons would probobly do with the D-7 what the federation did with the Connie and try to make a dreadnought from an existing cruiser class. The federation Class is just an enlarged connie with a 3rd nacelle. The C-8/9 is a rebuilt, enlarged, and overhauled D-7 with a 3rd nacelle on its secondary hull. it is still a part of the boom but pushed further back to enhance the warp field. the boom is heavily re-enforced, and she packs a whallop (after all its the same SFB dreadnought just re-designed).
 

Im working on the G-series fighters and fast patrol ships also ill post as they r completed

That looks great Spup, good alt to the sfb DN. I felt the SFB DN was ok, but the B10 BB was downright awful...


your F5 looks better too - much sleeker...

w00t!  That F5 is INCREDIBLE...*vast* improvement.  I agree, I was never really sold on the SFB one.  Only comment I have is...I'd make the body a TAD bigger, and the 'wings' a TAD smaller.  Not too much, but the proportians right now seem....a *little* weird.

I agree about the C8/9 - the SFB ones were kinda....ugly.  I sort of accepted them as 'ugly' with a certain charm...kidna like the WW2 Japanese 'Fuso' BBs with their pagoda superstructures.  The double-bridge stack you have is nice, but I think a big part of the 'Federation' class is the saucer is much larger, I think I'd increase the size of the round parts of the C8/9 bridge bubble-thingy.

I think the sec hull needs beefing up...somehow.  I can't think of anything right now.  Maybe not have the back of it sweep in quite so much?  Dunno.  I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just needs beefing up somehow.  

The Fed DN, too me, looks like more than just a CA with a third warp engine.  It's like, every part of it is bigger, stronger, more built up.  It just looks TOUGHER.

I tried to make these in proportion, unfortunetly 3dexploration renders dont have a good perspective view (id render them in max but i still have texture coords from the d-7 i bashed it from, and i dont wanna lose..yet). IMO the SFB C-8 was way outta proportion, and YES the BB is much worse. (im doing a version of that too and its an original design). the head was way too big the bridge was butt ugly lol. the secondary hull was way too thick and blocky. I remember when i got the SFB expantion packs and i thought the klink dreadnought was the coolest ship they had....untill i saw the micro model of it.

anyways ill get to texturing these soon anyone know where i can get the TOS klink hull font (similar lettering to whats on the d-7)?

Those are outstanding! I love the forward swept wings on the F-5. I hope your going to do TMP style textures. Please.

I've got several Klingon fonts. Here's some examples of them. Just let me know if you want them.
Also, a bunch of Romulan fonts, a ton of Feddie fonts and two Bajoran fonts.

Beautiful... sob... very nice... sniff... excellent... wah!

I guess they won't come in SFC1 flavors... or will they?

TMP textures on a TOS model...Hmmmmm.... Ummm... NO    They just wouldnt look right
