Title: Sound for probes?

Does anyone know which .wav this is in EAW-OP? I spent an hour trying to find this sound and havn't pinned it down yet. As far as I can tell it isn't in the sounds zip. There is a really neat TOS .wav I want to apply to this if I can find it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Unfortunately it seems the probes default to the same sound as your standard photon torpedo.(ptdisc1.wav) which for me is a TOS torp sound.  I have tried to use the sound text file to point to a different wav file but this has no effect. I have been able to assisn new waves to phasers,disruptors ,etc  but not the probe....must be hard-coded(?).

Thanks for the info. Ya, I was afraid of that. There was a wave for the original series probe launch I wanted to use but have thus far been thwarted. But the probe sound makes a great photon wave. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
