Title: 1player campaign stuck in early, SFC2OP

Hey kids.

Can't get OP to start a campaign at any era other than early.

Hiya Kastor---post this over to the D2 Experiences forum; there's plenty of help lurking there. Beware Gorn in tutu's, rolling pins of death, and assorted other nasties however.

Well that was helpful. Not.  And wrong.

Kastor there is also a server admin listserv that might be helpful...

Jimmi has a point. The Question is about "1player" which I believe means Single-Player, and therefore has nothing to do with D2...

Kastor, were you trying to play the Advanced Era? I just tried OP (with OP+ shiplist) and had a similiar experience As BeastRider and Hydran.

Early starts at 2263, mid 2273, late 2283. but Advanced era still gives me 2263.

I am not sure if it's a known bug or not... but you should be able to start (at least i did) at 2273 and 2283.

I suppose my take on it is, if you're gonna post, you should try to be helpful--and polite.

Don't give sghndubh too hard a time, time was I was an EAW/OP D2 admin running a server called Evil spock. That was about a year ago. I also spent wayyyy too many hours playing Rooks' early servers too. He and I tangled a few times in the D2 forums, as a konfirmed klink and a filthy fed often will. =)

But my question was indeed regarding single player, since I no longer have the time it takes to play D2. Frankly, the hours of time that are necessary to 'levelling' into a decent cruiser lie outside the time I'm willing to dedicate to a computer game. (anymore that is =)

Anyone know how to alter the starting year of the individual 1-player campaigns?

Here is the link to the fix for the OP era problem if this is what the problem is.  It worked for me.

(breaks out the walker)  Those were the days, weren't they...  Well Kastor I've been assimilated now, so you'll have to get outta that SP stuff and come fly against/with me on the D3, bud.
