 Yeah, that was definitely fun.  But look at it from the poor froggie's position.

   Wingman - dead

   2 Gorn BF's - at 6 o'clock fully charged S torps at the ready

   Range - 5 and closing.

     Maybe the planet was the lesser of 2 evils.
