Title: configuration weirdness?

hi, im a new user of sfc3.

anyway i noticed something while playing the fed campagne today.

i got a defiant ship and out fitted it with the exact same configuration as i outfitted a defiant in single player skirmished(which i have saved in a profile)

in the campagne game, the impulse power reads at about 872, whilst when view the ship in skirmish mode it shows 1000-something. also the warp power reads 48.67 / 47 in campagne and 48.67 / 47 in skirmish mode.
how is this possible? i have double checked and checked everything, the config is exactly the same,

the only thing i  see different is that the thrusters impulse and warp engines are differently placed thats all.
but those slots arent engine specific , there just avaiblable...anyone else notice this? why is the campagne different?

any help?

i noticed that the officers have an impact.

but the default officer in skirmish unchanged is expert. in campagne i have a veteren helm officer i think.

will check further.

More experienced officers will definitely get more out of the systems.

Pray you don't loose a crucial officer in battle.
