Title: anyone wish they'd made separate SFC2/3 forums?

I know its been mentioned before, so I guess they didn't want to separate the SFC2 and SFC3 forums. Why? Would it fragment the community too much?

The General Starfleet Command Forum covers more than just the 2 games you mentioned.. It covers SFC 1, SFC 2 EAW, SFC 2 OP, and SFC 3

so i guess that you would want to add 4 forums instead of combining them all together into one?

I don't think I would like that.. it seems to me easier to browse the topics in 1 general forum instead of browsing 4 of them...

however, they did keep the Dynaverse II and the Dynaverse III forums separate...

anyhow.. i like the way this is...

I sometimes wish for one forum for SFC3 and another for all the older SFC games.  Some of us old-timers haven't gotten SFC3 yet.

i dunno, i sometimes wish they were seperated, it's hard to separate the info sometimes, however, I can live like this.

<----has sfc3, but cant play it, lol

True, but SFC I, II, and OP are far more closely related than any of the three is related to SFC III, both in terms of the way the game is set-up, and in terms of the more closely meshed history/lineage of the games and their relationship to SFB's

So yes, I think the simple separation of SFC Classic and SFC TNG would be useful to everyone involved -

It IS separated. There are separate D2 and D3 forums available. What are you folks talking about?

I don't think they need to be seperate. It does get confusing sometimes though when someone sends in a "how do you do" post or a model and doesn't specify which game.

I sometimes wish for one forum for SFC3 and another for all the older SFC games.  Some of us old-timers haven't gotten SFC3 yet.
